Well after really struggling with my half step drills up and down the neck when trying to reach the upper frets, i sold my Dean Hardtail. Beautiful guitar but i wanted something more comfortable for me to play.
So I picked this beautiful black beauty up. A Dean Evo Noir with S3 headstock (most of you will recognize this is the same style headstock dimebag had on his dean ml's)

I really wish I could feel comfortable playing an ml or a razorback. But i dont. I had to accept that, this was the neck and body here on the evo that felt best to me. Heres why. Look at this contoured neck joint. so easy to play the upper frets with. Really super comfortable.

Another Angle......

This body is THICK. Such meaty tones come out of this thing now....

Well, there she is. She did have her problems though. Fret edges were pretty rough, smoothed those out with some .000 steel wool though, still need to buff out the frets and polish them. gonna pick up some 800 grit sandpaper for that. Action seems ok, Great guitar, if I had to make any single complaint is id love to get jumbo frets put on. these feel more like wide low. Which is very playable, but i dunno, jumbo frets are just easier for me to do bends with.
So there she is. I'm pretty happy especially considering what I spent to get everything. I got a lot of special deals putting this together.
